Funding Local Entrepreneurs
Startup capital is the money raised by a new company to meet its initial costs until it begins to turn a profit, and it is the oxygen that makes startup businesses live. Traditional companies often raise this startup capital through bank loans secured by existing assets or equipment purchased with the capital. Startup companies, especially in technology, have few existing assets and generally don't purchase equipment that could secure loans, so they often turn to a different source of funding called venture capital. Through InnoPower's partnership with The Minority Entrepreneurship Institute (MEI) and the Sagamore Institute, we help provide capital for talented Black entrepreneurs in the state of Indiana.
